Birkenstock pioneered the invention of the contoured footbed and introduced the concept of anatomically shaped insoles with exceptional support during the 1930s.Every aspect of the construction has been meticulously considered, down to the finest details. 

The footbed remains true to its original design, crafted from a combination of cork and natural latex, and meticulously contoured to mimic the shape of a healthy foot. Raised arches that are a crucial support for the foot's natural form and structure go along with these carefully engineered contours to ensure proper weight distribution.

1.FOOTBED EDGE

The footbed edge protects the toes and the entire foot during the rolling motion of the foot when walking.

2.RAISED TOE GRIP

The raised toe grip allows to toes to remain loose and spread out in their natural position.
