FlyteFoam

FlyteFoam is a proprietary foam technology developed by ASICS and first introduced in 2016. It is a lightweight foam material that is designed to provide maximum cushioning and support while still maintaining its shape and durability over time.

The development of FlyteFoam was a response to the growing demand from runners for shoes that were both lightweight and highly cushioned. Traditional foam materials tended to break down and lose their cushioning properties over time, especially with repeated use. This helps to create a foam that is both lightweight and responsive, while still providing maximum cushioning and support.ASICS has incorporated FlyteFoam into a number of their running shoe models, including the GEL-Nimbus, GEL-Kayano, and DynaFlyte series. 

The technology has also been updated and improved over the years, with newer versions of FlyteFoam offering even greater cushioning and support.

ASICS has released several versions of FlyteFoam technology over the years, with each new iteration designed to improve on the previous version's performance and durability. Here are some of the most notable versions of FlyteFoam:

1. FlyteFoam: The original version of FlyteFoam was introduced in 2016. It was designed to be lightweight and responsive, providing maximum cushioning without adding unnecessary weight to the shoe.
2. FlyteFoam Lyte: In 2018, ASICS released FlyteFoam Lyte, which was a lighter and more durable version of the original FlyteFoam technology. It was specifically designed for faster-paced runs and races, and was featured in the DynaFlyte 3 and RoadHawk FF 2 running shoes.
3. FlyteFoam Propel: FlyteFoam Propel was introduced in 2018 as a more responsive and springy version of the original FlyteFoam technology. It was designed to provide a bouncy and energetic ride, and was featured in the GEL-Quantum 360 4 and NOVABLAST running shoes.
